Review of the book 101 attacks on Hisingen from BTJ
Apr 17, 2025
Our book has now received a nice review from BTJ . Quotes from the review must not include the entire review nor give a misleading impression of the review.
Nature photographer Mikael Svensson, together with writer and hiking blogger Claes Olsson,
published an educational and beautiful photo book about the large island of Hisingen, a part of Gothenburg north of its center,
between the Göta River and the Nordre River.
The language is simple and observant with personal memories, anecdotes and snapshots, sometimes
almost laconic but still pregnant, which fits well with the often suggestively poetic, water-glittering,
the hazy pictures.
Without being a proper guidebook, 101 Hits on Hisingen still works as it should through
to inspire excursions or explain something you have seen. It also nuances the image of Hisingen.
